What is Yomassage®?
Yomassage® is a therapist lead practice in a class setting with multiple participants. The goal of every class at the Billings Yomassage® Studio is to help clients achieve deep relaxation by engaging in therapeutic touch, restorative stretch and mindful breath.
We combine all three so that you receive optimal support and healing through relaxation.
Therapeutic touch reduces pain, anxiety and depression. A majority of people today are touch deprived and Yomassage® offers the the benefits of touch.
Stretch is a non-pharmacological way to increase the happiness hormone and decrease the stress hormone. Regular restorative stretch is an emotional and psychological comfort which will further ease your physical pain.
Mindful breathing engages the body’s rest and digest response and improves our resilience to stress. Most people are in a natural tense state and this reminds the mind, body and spirit how to relax.
These tools allow for you to practice self-care and stress management in a group setting and it’s easy to then practice these tools at home in your everyday life and further benefit your well being.
