Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Lipedema. Lymphedema. Lipo-lymphedema.
I like to imagine these conditions as what happens when the body’s rivers and riverbanks begin to struggle. The lymphatic system is the river that carries excess fluid, proteins, immune cells, and metabolic waste back toward the heart. Fascia and connective tissue form the riverbanks, guiding and containing that flow. When either is overwhelmed, the landscape changes.
Our Lymphatic services offered are grounded in science (Vodder technique), tested and perfected over decades of clinical work
and as relaxing as a day at the spa.
Our services target the movement of your Lymphatic fluid to improve healing from illness and accelerate post surgical recovery. Immunity and the body’s defense system is balanced. Digestion, energy and sleep is improved. Toxins and waste is flushed from the body reducing bloating, cold and flu symptoms and cancer treatment side effects.
You’ll experience relief of constipation, menstrual cramp and and naturally treat inflammation.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
THE CROWN - MLD of the neck, face and head
Lymphatic health in this treatment is focused on increasing the movement and drainage of fluid in the neck, face and head due to allergies, sinus and respiratory congestion, dental work, headache or migraines.
The treatment begins with hot towels to open your lymphatic channels and then your therapist clears the pathways of your neck, face and head with the drainage sequence. Last we relax any tension in the head with a facial cupping application combined with a powerful antioxidant oil to move the fluid through the cleared pathways for optimal re-absorption.
$148 - 75 minutes
THE SOLAR PLEXUS - MLD of the abdomen, colon and viscera
This focused treatment targets the deepest regions of our lymphatic system and improves elimination of waste and re-absorption of fluid in the abdominal region. Great for constipation related symptoms, bloating, pre & post menstruation, IBS, and detox of the liver.
Clearing of the colon prepares the channels for the elimination of any toxins the body is ready to release. An abdominal massage with a combination of doTerra’s Digest Zen and castor oil finishes the treatment. Increased urination and bowel movements are a common side effect of this treatment as the kidneys, liver and gallbladder are stimulated.
$120 - 60 minutes
The Full Body Flow - MLD for the head, arms, legs and back

Manual Lymphatic Drainage FAQs
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable, preferably fitted clothing, similar to what you might wear to a yoga or exercise class to allow for comfort, stretch and massage to be comfortable during your Lymphatic Preparation.
I’m currently going through chemo and radiation for cancer, can I receive MLD?
No—Patients currently going through cancer treatment are not able to receive MLD. Please schedule after the completion of your treatment and with approval from your Doctor.
I’m pregnant- can I receive MLD?
Yes! MLD can help during and after pregnancy. Fluid retention is a common symptom in the legs and feet during pregnancy and MLD can be very beneficial.
I just had surgery, can I schedule a MLD service?
Yes, if you do not have any drains still in tact and/or active infections and it was not an abdominal surgery. MLD during recovery after surgery greatly reduces the development of painful fibrosis and accelerates the healing of scar tissue while reducing swelling of extremities and incision sites.
What other conditions prevent me from receiving MLD?
Congestive Heart Failure — Acute Infections —Deep Vein Thrombosis — Acute Bronchitis — Hyper/Hypo Thyroid — Crohn’s Disease
What is lipedema?
In lipedema, the change begins in the fat tissue itself. It is not “just weight.” It is a chronic, progressive disorder of subcutaneous adipose tissue, almost always affecting women, in which fat cells and the surrounding connective tissue become enlarged, tender, and inflamed, most commonly from the hips to the ankles, while the feet are often spared. Clients describe aching, heaviness, and easy bruising. Research shows micro-inflammation around blood vessels, fibrosis in the fascia, and early lymphatic overload, which means the very terrain that should glide and cushion instead feels crowded, pressurized, and sore.
When lipedema persists long enough, the overloaded lymphatics can begin to fail, and lipo-lymphedema emerges: disproportionate, painful fat plus true lymphatic swelling layered on top of each other. This is often the client who tells us, with shame in their voice, that they have been told to “just lose weight,” even though dieting has never changed the shape or pain of their legs.
What is lymphoedema?
Lymphedema is a different, but related story. Here, the lymphatic vessels themselves cannot keep up. Protein-rich fluid accumulates in the interstitial spaces because drainage is impaired, either due to a genetic weakness in the system (primary) or to damage such as surgery, radiation, infection, or trauma (secondary). Over time, chronic swelling can lead to increased fibrosis, fat deposition, skin changes, and increased vulnerability to infection. The river slows and thickens; the banks harden.
“To every client living with lipedema, lymphedema, or lipo-lymphedema: you are not your diagnosis, and you are not alone.
Your body is not failing; it is adapting under enormous load. Our work as therapist is to meet that adaptation with science in our hands, compassion in our hearts, and a deep respect for the quiet courage it takes to live in a body that feels heavy and keeps moving toward lightness.”
