Surgery can be promising but recovery may also feel overwhelming.
It’s my goal to help you bridge the gap between surgery and recovery with expert care, knowledgable, personalized support in an optimal healing environment.
During surgery there is trauma to our lymphatic system which results in swelling. MLD provides more efficient healing from surgery by assisting the removal of excess water and metabolic waste from affected tissue in the body, thus reducing swelling and fluid retention. MLD also supports relaxation, helps with pain management after surgery.
Multiple sessions is how MLD provides patients with the best recovery. Trauma to the Lymphatic system during surgery results in swelling present in tissues in the first 24 hours, which allows for certain patients to schedule their initial session in the first 48 hours after surgery.
This is a specialized type of treatment that should be performed by a MLD certified specialist.

Hour and a half sessions are best for extensive or surgery on multiple areas of the body but is best determined with a free 15 minutes phone consultation.
